You can command your computer to shutdown automatically at a given time.. for example lets suppose that you want that your computer to be shut down exactly on 5:00pm..

Open Start menue and go to RUN. type at 17:00 stutdown -s

now your computer will be shutdown exactly on 5:00pm.. To de-activate timer Go to RUN and type shutdown -a
